Enjoying the Japanese Tokyo Disney Resort Site: Part 1: Exploring the park through photos!

Hello Disney Girls and Boys!

Today is the start of what I hope to be quite a useful topic on my blog - How to get the most out of the Tokyo Disney Resort website if you don't understand the language! Today's post is very simple, it's more to bring to your attention a really awesome section of the site that not many people will have seen. It's one of my favourite parts of the site as it is constantly updated, and when I'm back here in rainy England, it makes me feel all warm inside and happy.

So, today's post is the first of much more to come, a guide to exploring the park via some lovely, adorable, and just plain awesome photos!

Please read on for more information!!

Disclaimer: All of the content in this post came from the Tokyo Disney Resort Official Site. I do not make any claim to owning these, this is merely a guide on how to enjoy the site if you aren't fluent in Japanese.
Before we begin, I'll admit that I haven't translated much today - there are so many different topic-areas within this photo site that it would take some time to translate something that, with a little click and look, is quite easy to grasp without knowing the language.

You'll see what I mean by following these instructions..

How to visit the "Exploring TDR through photos!" area of the TDR.JP site.
Ok, so to start off, visit this site and you should see something similar to the above. Basically, each of these are topic-areas inside of which are many adorable, incredibly well shot, photographs of the resort. When you find one that peaks your interest, click on the photo and you should see a box pop up like below...

By clicking on the area circled in pink, another screen will load and in a few moments you should see a screen like below...

You can then either watch the photos go by in a slow fashion or fiddle around with the control panel to see more. Unfortunately, you can't right-click and save these, but with some clever photoshop skills.. you can easily cap the photos for yourself.. but ssssh, I didn't tell you that... ^_~

The two buttons circled in the bottom left are; left is to completely shut the site down, including the previous pages.Right is to return to the menu of topic-areas.

I hope this helps! Please leave a comment if you have any questions! If you want to know what any of the areas are called in English, don't hesitate to ask!

And, to finish off, here is my favourite photo from the site...

What was your favourite?

Enjoy!!

xoxo
